Using FrameShot

FrameShot is a tool from Dreamlights Group LLC for turning videos into image references. You may use FrameShot for personal or professional creative work, subject to the rights in the footage you choose. Sign in with a verified email to use project credits. Keep access to your email secure.

Respect the source

Only process footage you own or have permission to use. You retain any rights you already hold in your source footage and output. FrameShot does not grant rights to someone else’s content. You are responsible for following applicable laws and the terms of the source material’s license.

Save what matters

History saves recent generations in this browser and is not a cloud backup. Download anything important, particularly if saving to history fails. Original footage must be reselected after a refresh. The preview may change, and processing depends on your device’s memory, browser, and video codec. We do not promise that every file up to the size limit will work on every device.

Current limits

Use one video at a time, up to 1,000,000,000 bytes. Each run supports up to 240 frames and a 256 MiB image-output budget. Frame dimensions are capped at 3840 × 2160 without upscaling; contact sheets are scaled within 4096 × 4096 pixels. These limits help keep local processing manageable.

Credit packs and refunds

Each verified new account receives three free project credits. One credit unlocks one video reference project after a successful export is prepared. Repeated downloads and capture-setting changes within that project do not use another credit; choosing a new source starts a new project. Credit packs are one-time USD purchases, do not expire, and do not renew automatically. Credits are for FrameShot use only and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

For accidental purchases, failed credit delivery, or unused-credit refund requests, contact dreamlightsgroupllc@gmail.com with your purchase email. Refunds and payment disputes adjust the credits associated with that purchase. Partial refunds reverse the corresponding proportion of a pack, rounded up to whole credits. If those credits have already been spent, the balance can become negative. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Saved images and project unlocks do not constitute cloud storage or backups.
